Surface mounted centrifugal SELV fan with timer

Surface mounted fans can be wall or ceiling mounted and have a centrifugal impeller designed to overcome longer duct runs. The fan has an on/off pull cord switch. Switching off will activate the overrun Timer
These carry on running for an adjustable period - usually about twenty minutes after it has been switched off - but this can be set to anywhere between two and thirty minutes. The benefit is that the fan will continue to operate when the room is no longer in use, continuing to clear the moisture.timer. The fan will switch off at the end of the overrun time which can be altered by adjusting the sensor. As an alternative to the standard AC version the low voltage 24v model provides an additional level of safety for operation in a moist or wet environment. Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) fans have been designed for increased safety when installing fans within a bath or shower spray area. SELV fans have an isolating transformer(which is located in an area away from the fan) and reduce the voltage to 24v so that in the unlikely event of a fan fault the electrical charge is at a safe level. SELV fans are the safest option for use in 'wet' areas offering increased peace of mind and have a safety rating of IP57 and can be located in Zones 1, 2 or 3. The fan back plate can be removed and fully installed before the fan and motor assembly are fixed in place.
