Elite SELV humidistat bathroom fan with timer and automatic shutters

The Elite range of fans are single speed axial flow extract fans designed to exceed Building Regulation requirements for bathroom, toilet, kitchen or utility room ventilation. All Elite fans are fitted with electrically operated anti-backdraught shutters for quiet operation as standard and have a time delay to open or close. These carry on running for an adjustable period - usually about twenty minutes after it has been switched off - but this can be set to anywhere between two and thirty minutes. Humidistat fans incorporate sensors that continually monitor the surrounding environment and when the humidity climbs over a certain level the fan turns on automatically. The fan stops automatically once the humidity levels have been reduced to 'normal'.humidity sensor will operate the fan whilst the relative humidity exceeds the pre set activation point. As an alternative to the standard AC version the low voltage 24v model provides an additional level of safety for operation in a moist or wet environment. Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) fans have been designed for increased safety when installing fans within a bath or shower spray area. SELV fans have an isolating transformer(which is located in an area away from the fan) and reduce the voltage to 24v so that in the unlikely event of a fan fault the electrical charge is at a safe level. SELV fans are the safest option for use in 'wet' areas offering increased peace of mind and have a safety rating of IP57 and can be located in Zones 1, 2 or 3.
