Description
One of our most popular central mechanical extraction solutions, the Greenwood CMEV.4E is a modern update of Greenwood Centair/CML offering improved energy efficiency, performance and noise specs whilst also offering a drop in replacement for anyone wishing to replace their old unit.
It is a low energy continuously running mechanical extract unit for whole house ventilation utilising the latest in low energy DC motors and can be installed as a completely discreet system which is centrally mounted in a cupboard or loft space.
The system allows for extreme versatility being very compact and housing five staggered round extraction spigots which are usually from the kitchen, bathrooms and toilets and are expelled via one exhaust duct to the outside.
125mm or 5" solid ducting is recommended to minimise air resistance
The unit can be wired to run on low, medium and high speeds via a remote wired 3 position switch (GS1) or low and high only via a double pole switch (GS2). The motor speed is fully adjustable for low and high speeds (medium speed will be based on the midpoint between the selected trickle and boost speed)
Also available is the CMEV.4eHT which incorporates a digital smart humidistat
Its compact design makes it ideal for apartments and small properties
CMEV.4e replaces the discontinued CMEV.4. It has the same fixing points and controls as the CMEV.4 so is a straight replacement for installation.
The CMEV.4E has a low EC energy motor as opposed to the standard DC motor that was used in the CMEV.4
